Account deletion

You can request deletion of your Viral or Vanished account without reinstalling the Android app.

Requesting deletion is not automatic. The button below opens an email draft. You must send it to submit the request, and our team may verify that you own the account before processing it.

Request account and associated data deletion

Select Start deletion request or email support@viralorvanished.com.
Include the email address connected to your account and your username. Never send your password or authentication tokens.
Specify that you want the account and associated personal data deleted. Support may ask for reasonable identity verification.
Keep your confirmation message for your records.

What data is affected?

Requests cover your account and associated personal information, subject to any lawful retention requirements. That may include profile details, uploaded tracks and cover art, votes, comments, messages and collaboration activity once those features are active. We must verify actual data handling and deletion mechanisms before full launch.

Retention and existing content

Some records may need to be retained temporarily where legally necessary, such as security, fraud prevention, accounting or resolving a claim. Where applicable, the retention reason and time period should be explained during processing. An account simply being deactivated does not equal deletion.

In-app deletion

The Android app currently links to a support-email request. A fully automated account-deletion API is still being developed and tested; deletion is not yet confirmed to be self-service.
